Tile Art
Tile painting is a traditional Chinese craft with two thousand years of history. Our beautiful and unique artistic tiles are hand painted and fired with brilliant colors and complex glazes.
Only the most highly skilled craftspeople are employed to create these works of art. The artistic process is labor intensive which requires multiple firings to create each plaque. One of the key components used is high kiln temperatures, creating a veritable art fire that is everlasting. With their vibrant colors and unique textures, these tiles are works of art.
All of our tiles have a finished back ready for use as home décor. The larger one has a hanger built in so you can display it as wall art. The smaller size tiles have a built in easel back to stand on its own, or it can be hung on a wall and used as a trivet. The backs on the smaller tiles can be removed and integrated with other tiles to create your own masterpiece.
